Modern trade is distributed via our internal SMC Brand’s fleet. Particular attention is being given to all POS items, which are distributed via our sales representatives or our in-house transport. Through the use of third-party logistics service providers, we ensure an extension of our service levels where required in outlying areas.
Stock Management
SMC Brands are reducing inventory levels and working capital through demand planning and S&OP efficiencies, monitoring product ranges & reporting.
SMC Brands also use MACmobile, a Market Intelligence, Logistics and Payment solution, to report compliance on-call routes, activations, specials, gondola ends and encompassing all that requires business intelligence and reporting.
Direct Route-to-Market Distribution
SMC Brands ensures the prompt and timely distribution of quality products to our Customer and ultimately, their end consumer.
Retail Key Account Management
Comprehensive management of Key Accounts on behalf of SMC Brand’s Brand Principals to ensure the Customers are aware of developments on the products.
Off Bonds/Direct Import Services
SMC Brands have a proven track record in these services, allowing us to source products globally with an end to end clearing and forwarding solution that covers all INCOTERMS.
HORECA
HORECA runs independently as there are exponentially more delivery points and the need for delicate picking from the warehouse. The HORECA team also does cash collections for specific cash-paying Customers and van sales operations.
